LifeLine strives to keep pets with the people who love them. Whether your dog has behavior issues or your cat has special medical needs, we'll provide resources and assistance to help keep your human-animal family together.

With many families facing hardships, some find it challenging to care for their pets. The LifeLine Community Support team helps residents of DeKalb county keep their pets. This effort includes lost pet assistance, behavior training resources, low-cost medical care, pet supplies, temporary pet housing and more.

  • Affordable Vet Care

    The LifeLine Community Animal Center clinic offers full-service, affordable veterinary care, including vaccines, dental care, emergency visits, surgery and more.

  • Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Services

    The LifeLine Spay & Neuter Clinic provides low-cost, high-quality spay/neuter surgeries and has performed over 150,000 procedures.

  • SNIP DeKalb

    SNIP DeKalb (Spay Neuter Impact Program) provides free spay/neuters and vaccines for cats and medium-sized, large-breed dogs for DeKalb County pet owners who need our help. Complete the SNIP DeKalb Application Form to get started.

  • SPOT Society

    SPOT (Stopping Pet Overpopulation Together) Society funds and provides low- to no-cost spay/neuters for pets of financially disadvantaged residents of the metro Atlanta area

  • Wellpet Humane

    WellPet Humane is a full-service veterinary clinic in Doraville, Georgia providing compassionate care, focusing on wellness and treating a wide range of medical issues common to dogs and cats.

  • Community Veterinary Care

    Community Veterinary Care is a local non-profit Christian veterinary mission that helps those who cannot help their sick or injured pets due to financial hardship.

  • The Pet Fund

    The Pet Fund provides non-basic, non-urgent pet care funding, such as for cancer treatment, heart disease, chronic conditions, endocrine diseases, eye diseases, etc.

  • PALS Atlanta

    It is the mission of Pets Are Loving Support, Inc. (PALS) – an Atlanta based 501(c)(3) organization – to provide ongoing care and support to the pets of Atlanta area persons living with disabilities due to HIV/AIDS and terminal illnesses, and the elderly.

    Pet Buddies is an outreach organization that provides spay and neuter sponsorship, temporary pet food and supplies to struggling pet owners, seniors, disabled, veterans, medically fragile and the homeless.

Whether you have adopted a new pet or need help with your current pet, we can provide you with resources and solutions for your pet's behavior. Many pet behavior challenges can be managed and corrected through training. These resources can help you to improve your pet's behavior.

SAFETY NET FOSTER

If you are facing a crisis and need short-term housing for your pet, LifeLine may be able to help through our Safety Net program . Pets of qualified program participants are placed in a home with a short-term foster parent until the participant's situation is stable and a reunion can occur.
